Were almost at the end of fashion month, but before we officially close the chapter on Fall 2018, Nicolas Ghesquière showed his latest offering for Louis Vuitton in the glass-roofed courtyard at the Louvre museum. It was in this cream-colored and tree-lined space that models — sans chunky sneakers — exhibited strong-shouldered looks, argyle knits paired with sequins, corset waist and chain belts, pleats, houndstooth prints and shearling outerwear. Since taking the reins at the storied French fashion house, Ghesquière has been known to marry unlikely styles and heavily flirt with sportswear, but the designer took a turn towards the more wearable this season and kept his sartorial juxtapositions to a minimum.
