Rina Sawayama’s Cool, Clashing Style Needs to Be on Your Radar

If you haven't started following the London-based Rina Sawayama on Instagram, there's plenty of reasons to do so right now. For starters, her daring beauty looks — from her "Fifth Element" orange hair to a super-short cut in neon red — will make you want to reach for a tub of Manic Panic. Then there's her music, which seamlessly blends the nostalgic sounds of pop and R&B with a layer of EDM.

Lastly, her style. Oh man, her style. It's an in-your-face aesthetic that's part club-kid, part cyberpunk with plenty of designer-name pieces. Her most recent ensemble, spotted at a Tom Ford Beauty party with Dazed in London on Wednesday night, further proves that her cool, clashing style needs to be on your radar.

Sawayama celebrated the launch of Tom Ford's "Extreme" cosmetics collection wearing a stylish mash-up of prints and bright colors, including a SOS leopard print suit by British designer Steve Smith, a Burberry faux fur coat in pale pink and red boots by Fenty x Puma, all accessorized with a Tom Ford (naturally) bag and silver jewelry. (Props to stylist Lauren Anne Groves for compiling this ensemble.) Sawayama's beauty look equally stole the spotlight; she paired her colored hair with dark blue lipstick.

On paper this all sounds like some weird fashion-and-beauty idea generator, but on Sawayama, it's perfect and pure. Have you hit that "follow" button yet?
