The surprising trend, of the season that A-listers can’t stop wearing

You’ve exhausted your leopard print midi, lost your tiger print coat, sold your zebra print boots and gotten bored of your snake print belt… but just when you thought you could tick ‘animal print’ off your list as a trend you’ve absolutely annihilated, along came the newest take.

Cow print is no new phenomenon, but after years spent bubbling away in the background as a shadow of its more popular, aforementioned sister prints, it’s finally time to take the cattle to battle. Or, you know, to the office.

Here are the 10 things we’ll *all* be wearing in 2019

We hate to pin a trend on yet another royal look, but there was certainly an influx of interest in cow print after Meghan Markle threw us a giant curveball by stepping out in a pair of perspex, wild-west-inspired court shoes by Gianvito Rossi.

The surprising trend, of the season that A-listers can't stop wearing

Not the only A-lister to adopt the look, however, with Victoria Beckham both designing and wearing several pieces this season adorned with the print. Kylie Jenner was also spotted in a cow-print swimsuit, while Dua Lipa gave a subtle nod to the trend via a pair of boots.

A relatively easy look to pull off, the basic colour palette of brown/black and white allows for simple layering in complementary hues.

And if you’re skeptical, why not embark on the trend tentatively via an accessory – a Staud tote or Ganni boots, for example.

Into it? We’ll see you on the ranch.
