“I was inspired by the rich red shade of the gown and wanted to bring that warmth into the face by bronzing up her complexion and painting her pout a rich red shade,” he explains. But the thing that elevates a classic beauty look to a next-level one? Incredible skin starts with some dedicated prep –and not just on the night.
“Before we began, I gave Jen the QMS Deep Gentle Cleanserand Hydrating Boost to cleanse, tone and balance her skin. First I applied the Day Collagen Serum over her entire face – even over the eye because it absorbs so quickly. I also used their Power Firm Mask which is a great way to prep skin for makeup. Last I used the QMS ACE Moisturiser and then we were ready for makeup,” Ernesto explains
He used the Skin Foundation Sticks in Chestnut and Afternoon Glow to contour and highlight, then set her complexion with a sheer loose finish powder.
For brows, Ernesto sculpted with the Perfectly Defined Longwear Brow Pencil in Espresso. The star of the eye look was the Luxe Eyeshadow in the shade Heat Ray but the real headliner were her red lips –created with a combination of the Lip Pencil in Sangria and the Luxe Matte Lip Colour in Red Carpet (it makes total sense. And to keep her pout looking fresh throughout the evening Ernesto used the QMS Lip Line Corrector to hydrate and plump lips for a smoother canvas for a red lip.
