Bloggers are saying this clever sheet mask is totally repairing their damaged hair

Hair envy: it’s a very real problem. Here at GLAMOUR HQ, we spend a LOT of time looking at new hair trends, speaking to celebrity stylists and generally lusting after a sea of beachy waves, mermaid hair and images of long, glossy locks all day long.

So, when we see beauty bloggers buzzing about a new product that claims to give you the silkiest strands of your life, we get just a little bit (a lot) excited. And Australian beauty brand, Mirenesse’s Thermal Wrap N Repair Mask (£19 for three), is getting rave reviews from some top influencers.

After using the mask for the first time, Nikkia Joy, who says her waist-length hair is usually frizzy, told her 727,000 YouTube subscribers: “I wish more than anything that you could touch things through YouTube. You would not believe how soft my hair is right now. It is ridiculously soft and look how dead straight it is. There’s no flyaways… it feels like silk. ”

Mimicking professional salon heat-activated hair treatments, this mask comes as a foil sheet loaded with serum. You wrap it around your head and it heats up, helping the argan oil, coconut oil, manuka honey and other good stuff to sink into your hair. After 20 minutes, you take it off and rinse.

Mirenesse say the treatment is “the ultimate remedy for perfect hair to maintain its elasticity, density and shine. The cap heats up automatically, enhancing absorption and deeply infusing hair with ceramides, oils, and moisturising damaged hair while also stimulating hair growth and fighting hair loss with regular use. ”

Big claims, but it’s living up to the hype, with scores of happy reviewers saying the mask has saved their damaged hair. And Nikkia wasn’t the only big-name YouTuber who loved it. Makeup artist and beauty influencer Elle Leary also posted a video praising the mask, saying: “This does not weigh your hair down, it feels just like my hair, but it feels very silky and soft. ”
