Despite the unusually warm temps, boot weather is quickly approaching, and what better way to kick off the season than by looking at one of the biggest shoe trends for fall: over-the-knee boots.

Pair them with skinny jeans for a more casual look, or under a flowy dress in lieu of tights for something a little more romantic. Just avoid short minis or tight dresses, unless you’re paying tribute to Pretty Woman.
