Zara’s spring collection is here and you’re going

If there’s one thing that’s guaranteed to pull us through the long, cold winter months, it’s a new season Zara drop.

Praise be, because our favourite high street store has just released its SS19 collection, and it’s all kinds of amazing.

This season, it’s all things bright and beautiful, with highlighter hues, animal prints, maximalist patterns and and tie-dye textiles kicking the January blues into touch.

If you’re ready for a new season wardrobe update, then scroll this way.

Neon Brights

Thanks to the 80s revival, fluoro is firmly on the fashion agenda this season, with a spectrum of in-your-face shades hitting the runways of New York, London, Paris and Milan. From lime green to hot pink, flame orange to lemon yellow, herald your new season status with a pop of neon.

Animal Print

There’s no time to be a shrinking violet, because we’re living in the age of an animal print renaissance. Cheetah spots, leopard print and zebra stripes are all signalling a more-is-more mentality. Take a walk on the wild side with an all-over pattern to ensure you stand out from the pack.

Polka Dots

Polka dots have thrown off their girly associations and are finally all grown up – something the Parisians have long been tuned into, judging by the display of unapologetic femininity at Paris Fashion Week. You don’t to don all-over dots to dial into the trend – look to Eighties-inspired separates to keep your wardrobe feeling fresh.

Before you come at us with Miranda Priestly’s infamous Devil Wears Prada quip, these new season florals truly are groundbreaking. It might seem counterintuitive, but florals needn’t be ditsy, as proved by Zara’s crop of bewitching blooms and graphic buds in a darker colour palette. This statement monochrome dress was made for winter layering.
