We all know the feeling – you find an amazing new dress/jacket/boot (delete as appropriate) and can’t WAIT to show it off, only for your colleague/sister/best friend to roll it out the day before your big reveal.
Unfortunately, with a high street as great as our own, it happens all too often, which is why we’re constantly on the lookout for slightly more niche labels that *aren’t* frequently shopped by everyone we know.
One such brand – although not new – is Uterqüe. Falling under the same umbrella as high street stalwart Zara, it is owned by Inditex who also heads up the likes of Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka and Stradivarius. So they know what they’re doing in the world of women’s fashion…
Launching this week, Uterqüe revealed their spring/summer collection.
Chic, pastel trouser suits, vibey purple leather jackets, simple, loose-fitting midi skirts – there are endless options for all manner of occasion.
Slightly more fashion-forward than its sister brands, it’s the perfect label for those who live for Zara basics but like to enhance and elevate their looks with more unexpected statement pieces.
Starring in the campaign for SS19 is Georgina Grenville, the iconic 90s supermodel who has spent several years away from the spotlight while having three children. Back a vengeance and photographed by Quentin de Briey, she models the high street brand’s new season look, and quite frankly that’s our wardrobe sorted for the next six months.
