While we are really looking forward to lockdown lifting, there is something to be said for spending the cold, dreary months at the start of the year cocooned in our homes.
Without having meetings to rush out to and bars to drag ourselves back from, our homes have become a little sanctuary from the COVID crazy world, and that means we’re all *a lot* more interested than our interiors and homewares.
Maybe I’m just getting old or maybe it’s because we’ve spent roughly five months of the past year primarily confined to our houses (I’m praying it’s the latter) but my friends, colleagues and myself all seem to be spending a good portion of our pay checks on grown-up homeware buys.
