Crocs with socks? It’s a look, according to Ariana Grande. On Tuesday, the pop star posted photos of herself wearing a pair of the clunky rubber clogs with ankle socks. And, no, she wasn’t gardening.
“Givenchy to Crocs, look at the range,” a fan commented, referencing her new campaign for the French fashion house.
Considering we’re at the tail end of New York Fashion Week, when intricate outfits are to be expected, this look doesn’t exactly shock us. Plus, this isn’t the first time Crocs have made an appearance during Fashion Week. Models have sported the controversial footwear on runways for designers likeChristopher KaneandBalenciaga.
Whether you love them or hate them, Crocs are making a comeback. Grande is just the latest style star to make a case for the polarizing shoe. And, of course, fans freaked out when they saw her sporting Crocs with socks. “My need for Crocs has heightened,” wrote one follower in the comments section.
“Watch every girl start buying Crocs now,” a fan added. “Got to go buy stock in Crocs really quick,” another quipped, which probably isn’t a terrible idea tbh.
