Billie Eilish Has a New Song, so Put on Your Headphones and Get in Your Feelings

Billie Eilish dropped her new song “Everything I Wanted” on Wednesday, and she’s blessed us with more haunting vocals and deep lyrics. The four-minute song is Eilish’s first drop since her album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, which was released in March.

The melancholy tune is paired with abstract artwork in the above video release, and it starts off with, “I had a dream I got everything I wanted.” In breathy vocals, she sings, “I tried to scream but my head was underwater / They called me weak like I’m not just somebody’s daughter.”

Give the beautiful new song a listen, and prepare to add it to your sad b*tch playlist.

Lili Reinhart Makes the Time 100 List Wearing a Rodarte Gown That Betty Cooper Would Stan

Actor and soon-to-be-author Lili Reinhart was listed as one of TIME magazine’s 100 Next most influential young people. To celebrate the expansion of the magazine’s illustrious list, Lili attended the gala on Thursday night at Pier 17 in New York City, wearing a Rodarte gown and Harry Winston jewels – we think Betty Cooper would approve of this sweet look.

Lili’s black-and-white peplum gown covered in black satin bows was straight from Rodarte’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection. The choice isn’t surprising because she is a Rodarte ambassador, since being featured in the brand’s dreamlike, star-studded Spring/Summer 2020 lookbook, which also included Kiernan Shipka and Alexa Demie.

The simple, monochromatic palette of Lili’s F/W 2019 gown paired with the excessive bows is giving us major inspiration for our party season looks. It’s perfectly festive with the present-like ribbon details, while the minimal color choice keeps the dress from looking over the top. We’re also loving that the ruching on the bust looks like an elegantly wrapped gift. Keep reading ahead for every angle of Lili’s gorgeous gown.

Netflix Shared a Glimpse of Christian Serratos as Selena Quintanilla, and We Have Chills

Netflix has shared a first look of Christian Serratos in character as Selena Quintanilla for its new show about the Tejano music legend, Selena: The Series. In the first, brief teaser for the series, we get a glimpse of The Walking Dead star dressed in ’90s attire as she practices singing one of Quintanilla’s biggest hits, “Como La Flor.” She gradually makes her way through her Texas home, getting a ride to a stadium, and then finally belting out the track on a dark stage. Not gonna lie: we have chills.

According to Netflix, Selena is a coming of age story that follows the singer “as her dreams come true and all the heart-wrenching and life-changing choices she and her family have to make as they navigate success, family, and music.” Part one of the series will arrive at some point in 2020 from executive producers Suzette Quintanilla, Jaime Dávila, and Rico Martinez, as well as Campanario Entertainment’s Simran A. Singh and Moisés Zamora. A specific premiere date and episode count (as well as episode length) have yet to be revealed by the streaming site.

Quintanilla holds a place in history as one of the most beloved Mexican-American entertainers of all time. Later dubbed the “Tejano Madonna,” Quintanilla won a Grammy in 1994 and still ranks as the bestselling female artist in Latin music history despite her tragic murder in 1995 by her best friend and the president of her fan club, Yolanda Saldívar, who is serving a life sentence in a Texas jail.

In addition to Serratos, the cast includes Gabriel Chavarria (War for the Planet of the Apes) as A.B., Selena’s older brother; Ricardo Chavira (Santa Clarita Diet) as Abraham, Selena’s father; and Noemi Gonzalez (The Young and the Restless) as Suzette, Selena’s sister and best friend.
