Tristan Thompson is breaking his silence. The 27-year-old NBA player spoke out for the first time since welcoming his baby girl, True, with Khloé Kardashian on April 12. “She’s doing good,” he told Road Trippin podcast hosts Richard Jefferson and Allie Clifton.
“Eating, sleeping and, uh, sh*ttin’. That’s all they do,” he joked.
In April, the Cleveland Cavaliers player found himself in hot water for allegedly cheating on Khloé during her pregnancy, and faced criticism from Khloé’s family and fans alike, yet it seems the couple decided to stay together and make things work.
Tristan didn’t discuss the scandal in his recent interview, but he did give an update on his 1-year-old son Prince. “Prince is getting big, jumping on a little trampoline,” he shared.
When it comes to raising a boy versus raising a girl, Tristan said there are differences. “Yeah, I think with a girl, you’re just so much more emotionally like. . . With a boy, it’s just like, ‘Hey, man. You’ll be alright, man. Stop crying. ’ But with True, it’s like, ‘True, it’s gonna be OK. You know, we’re right here. Daddy’s here to feed you. It’s me! Look, yeah! ’ It’s way different, but it’s fun, though. It changes you. ”
As for more kids in his future, Tristan hopes to see more of his offspring running around. “I’m gonna keep going,” he said in response to whether he was done having kids. “I’ve got a couple more. I got a couple more left. ” The jury is still out on if Khloé is down for that.
