This Love Actually star competed in Eurovision and we can’t deal

Love Actually isn’t just for Christmas, it’s a gift that keeps on giving all year round. Now, world, prepare yourself as a brand spanking new fact about one cast member that’s come to light ahead of the campest night of the year, Eurovision.

Lúcia Moniz AKA Aurelia AKA Colin Firth’s love interest competed in Eurovision for her native nation, Portugal, in 1996. Did someone say, THROWBACK! ?

The star performed as a solo artist with the track, O Meu Coração Não Tem Cor, or My Heart Has No Colour. Check out the rousing performance below.

The ‘catchy’ track placed Uncle Jamie’s girlfriend in sixth place which in comparison to the British entries of late, is more than respectful.

It remains unknown whether Colin Firth’s Jamie learnt the Portuguese lyrics to this tune in his language classes but we will endeavour to find out. Meanwhile, in case you were wondering fact fan, the 1996 Eurovision winner was Ireland when the competition took place in Oslo.
