London Fashion Week might have only just wrapped but there’s already a cult style hero that’s emerging as a frontrunner for our SS19 wardrobe.
Thanks to an array of influencers like Susie Lau, aka Style Bubble, Linda Tol and Jamie QQ, who donned the boots on the streets of LFW, Kurt Geiger’s Rita boot are flying off the shelves.
With a row of detailed hook and eyelets, lace-up trimming and a kitten heel (that’s set to be major news for SS19), the leather ankle boots take inspiration from the punkish mod culture of the Sixties.
The boots come in vintage shades of cream and pastel pink, which is perfect for pepping up your spring looks, though there’s also a classic black version available if you fancy a pair for everyday wear.
Proving the boots have bona-fide supermodel power, model-of-the-moment Adut Akech was spotted at Victoria Beckham’s London Fashion Week after-party in an edgy black pair with gold tipped toes, while elsewhere, Pixie Geldof wore a metallic style all through the week.
But if you want to get your hands on a pair, you’ll have to be quick, because according to FEMAIL, sales of the shoe have soared by 700% in the last week.
With a price tag of £199, the boots sit at the higher end of the spectrum, but we reckon they’re a perfect investment purchase to last you through the year.
Safe to say, these boots were definitely made for walking.
