But having sold out in under 24 hours when Version 1 launched in the summer (and three more times after subsequent re-stocks), it’s no surprise that Steph Shepherd’s latest collaboration collection with J Brand is being well-received.
If you’ve been keeping a keen eye on your Instagram feed lately, you’ve may have noticed the same style of jean cropping up.
For Version 2, the woman who started out as Kim Kardashian’s assistant and quickly became a wildly popular influencer has created two styles of the now iconic #LittleBlackJean. One of which, ironically, is blue.
Launching exclusively at Selfridges, Steph created an ultra-soft pair in a deep indigo wash. Just in time for festive over-indulgence, the jeans are made from the recently-launched Photo Ready HD Denim, a material that stretches 1.5 times more than the original before recovering back to the same size.
The other style is a coated black pair, with a unique leather-like look. “I am so excited to launch the wax-coated version of the #LittleBlackJean”, Steph said at the launch. “It’s a dressier version that can really step up your look for a night out!” And if anyone knows about dressing for a night out it’s a Kardashian pal.

The great news? They’re still in stock (for now, at least), but you’ll have to act fast. Judging by the last launch they won’t be around for long.
Unsurprisingly for the well-connected beauty, the jeans have been snapped up by some of the world’s biggest and best dressed stars including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Aimee Song and Olivia Culpo.
