Instagram is our go-to destination for fashion inspo.

So when we heard that Lyst’s latest Year in Fashion report had revealed the most popular designers and cult products, we were very happy shoppers. Tracking 100 million searches, the report tracks page views, sales data, search terms and social media data to unearth what we all wanted to wear this year.

Prep your bank balances, because these are officially the biggest brands on the ‘gram…

1. Veja

Sustainable trainer brand Veja have been the coolest kicks on the sartorial scene for a while, but when Meghan Markle shot the brand to global fame when she wore a pair at the Invictus Games.

2. Reformatio

Reformation‘s floral, feminine dresses have no doubt made their way onto your feed. According to Lyst, the brand’s Thelma dress was in the top 10 most viewed dresses of the year.

3. Attico

Online love from the likes of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley shot Attico to Insta-fame this year. Rich hues, dramatic prints and show-stopping fabrics make this brand the fash-pack’s go-to for ‘going out-out’ dresses.

4. Réalisation Par

It’s no exaggeration to say that Réalisation Par is the brand behind the animal print trend this year. That leopard midi skirt – the Naomi – that your feed couldn’t escape in the summer? Yep, Réalisation Par is the design-brains behind that piece.

5. Ganni

With an army of #GanniGirl influencers, it’s no wonder this Danish brand has seen a 52% increase in searches year on year. We’re obsessed with Ganni‘s floral patterns and cosy knits.

6. Staud

If you’re a fan of a statement bag (tbh who isn’t?), then Staud is the Insta-famous brand for you. Popularity soured after February fashion month and their Shirley bag was a summer sellout.

7. Nanushka

Another sustainable brand making waves this year, Budapest-based Nanushka scored hits with Insta-fluencers thanks to their jumpsuits and denim pieces.

8. Faithfull The Brand

It’s hard not to become a viral hit when names such as Candice Swanepoel and Vanessa Hudgens endorse your brand. Faithfull The Brand is also a favourite of jet-setting bloggers such as Lucy Williams. Think delicate dresses, bleached denim and relaxed ruffle blouses.

9. Rouje

From July to September, there were over 9,000 searches a week for Rouje‘s Gabin dress. It’s the epitome of Parisian style, with vintage-inspired dresses, beaded bags and delicate blouses.

10. Stine Goya

Searches for Stine Goya‘s party outfits have soared this year, and with luxe fabrics (it’s satin galore on our feeds) and beautifully bold colours, it’s easy to see why.
