I never got into Hannah Montana–or really understood the premise of the show at all–but Miley Cyrus earned $15,000 per episode and I completely understand that.

Brothers Dylan and Cole Sprouse played twin brothers on the show The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and made reportedly $20,000 per episode.

Stranger ThingsThe four main child stars Stranger Things each reportedly earned $30,000 per episode for the first and second seasons of the show and received a bonus on top of that.

That’s 17 episodes between seasons 1 2 if you’re counting at home, and that adds up to $510,000.

Selena Gomez used to be a star on Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place and was making $30,000 an episode.

The late Gary Coleman started out making $1,500 per episode as Arnold on the iconic NBC show Diff’rent Strokes in 1978. He eventually got his salary up to $70,000 per episode.

In 2010 Rico Rodriguez was 11 years old and played Manny on Modern Family and made $15,000 an episode. Last year, as he was turning 19 years old, he earned $100,000 per episode.

Miranda Cosgrove was the star of iCarly on Nickelodeon and ended up netting an estimated $180,000 per episode which aired from 2007 to 2012.

Frankie Muniz started making $30,000 per episode of Malcolm in the Middle when it first went on air in 2000. By the end of the show in 2006, he was making $120,000 an episode.

August T. Jones of Two and a Half Men is the highest paid child actor in history. Playing Jake Harper, he worked his way up to $300,000 per episode in 2010 when he was 17.
