I’ve already recounted my obsession with Sloane Peterson, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”‘s leading lady, across the internet for many years. And yet, despite a self-imposed expectation that the mania would dissipate with each tweet or blog post, it’s still persisted after all these years. Sometimes in my shopping adventures, I’ll stumble across an item that, I’ll think to myself, is “very Sloane,” which is (obviously) a great thing. This very response recently occurred while browsing Net-a-Porter for a pair of high-rise, ’80-ish shorts to either wear alone or in a decidedly ’80s move, with a coordinating blazer.
