The Avengers Face Down Thanos in the Emotional New Trailer For Endgame

In the footage released on April 2, we see characters like Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr. ) telling Cap that they need to “finish this” before a clip of him facing down Thanos all by himself on a deserted planet plays out.

There are also a few shots of the remaining team all together at the Avengers compound – Steve, Tony, Bruce, Nat, Thor, Rocket, Nebula, and more.

A brand new trailer for the fourth and final film in Marvel’s Avengers franchise is here, and, yes – we’re already sobbing. While we’re not totally sold on the film’s official title, to be quite honest – Avengers: Endgame – it looks like the movie is going to deliver on the emotional conclusion to the story we’ve come to know and love.

But just in case you thought the gang was too devastated to keep fighting, think again – they also vow to do “whatever it takes” to bring back their dearly departed friends. On the bright side, though: Ant-Man has arrived, Captain Marvel is ready to kick ass after touching down at the Avengers compound, and Nebula might have made her first friend in Rocket, so things are looking up. . . well, sort of. Are you hooked yet?

Fans of The Wire Will Love Netflix and Drake’s Revival of Gritty British TV Drama, Top Boy

“The olders are washed, the youngers fear nothing. And everyone wants to be a Top Boy. ”That’s the basic premise behind Netflix’s new series Top Boy, which follows rival gangs fighting for control of East London streets. The series originally aired on Channel 4 in the UK from 2011 to 2013.

Drake purchased the rights to the British TV drama in 2017 and serves as the series’ executive producer (which is actually his second upcoming series, after the HBO drama Euphoria) alongside the show’s original creative team: Charles Steel and Alasdair Flind for Cowboy Films, Ronan Bennett (who also wrote the series) for Easter Partisan, and Yann Demange.

Gritty British

The show’s ten-episode revival on Netflix will pick up where the drama left off, with Dushane (Ashley Walters) returning from exile to his home in London to reclaim his throne in the highly lucrative drug market. He teams up with Sully (Kane Robinson), his “spiritual brother, partner, and sometime rival” who is also returning to the same streets after being in prison.

Their plans put them at odds with Jamie (Micheal Ward), the young, hungry and ruthless gang leader whose ambitions leave no place for Dushane and Sully. The first look revealed surprise appearances from British rappers Little Simz (real name Simbi Ajikawo) and Dave (David Omoregie) in undisclosed roles.

“We couldn’t be more excited for Netflix members around the world and a new generation of fans to discover the authentic, raw and real world of Top Boy,” said Netflix’s vice president of original content, Cindy Holland. “Drake came to us several months ago with a passion to help bring this series back to life, and we’re thrilled to support the original creative team to do just that. ”

We’re Emotional! Past and Present Game of Thrones Stars Gather at the Final Red Carpet Premiere

With the premiere of Game of Thrones‘s final season coming up, the time has almost come for the longtime cast members to go their separate ways – but not before having one more dragon-sized celebration! On Wednesday, all of our favorite cast members left Westeros and gathered on the red carpet in NYC to celebrate the the show’s eighth season. While we can’t wait to see all of the drama and emotions explode onscreen, it’s nice to see smiles on all the faces we’ve grown to know so well for a change – and they’re so much sillier off-screen than expected. Just look at The Hound!

Game of Thrones Stars Gather

Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Gwendoline Christie, and Maisie Williams were in attendance – along with a few super cute couples, including Rose Leslie and Kit Harington – but one important cast member was noticeably missing: Lena Headey. In an Instagram post that same day, Lena (aka Cersei Lannister) expressed her disappointment for missing the premiere since she’s sick. “I f*cking hate being sick and the timing of this is a sh*t bag,” Headey captioned the post.

“But. . . S8 is the tits and so are all my cast mates and crew mates and creators. . . so RIDE FORTH INTO THE NIGHT AND CREATE MAYHEM. ” Keep reading to see all of the stars who showed up in honor of the Seven Kingdoms, and join us as we try to imagine a scenario in which Oberyn Martell and The Mountain actually throw down in suits and ties.
