We all know the perils of period pollution – the average woman will use over 11,000 disposable, one-time-use menstrual products in her reproductive lifetime, many of which are made primarily from plastic.
Annually, 100 billion period products are manufactured and discarded worldwide – all of which will take over 1000 years to decompose.
For anyone wanting to cut down on plastic pollution, or maybe you’re trying to go totally zero-waste, there a number of options available that are kind to the environment. As well as menstrual cups, there’s also period pants, which are made from super absorbent, odour eliminating fabric that can be washed and reused.
Plus, they are available in a range of styles, including thongs, high waisted briefs and even bikini bottoms, to suit every occasion and outfit.
Here, we round up the very best period pants available to buy right now…
Go All Out With a Hardcore, Full-Body Workout Set to Justin Bieber’s “Intentions”
If there’s one thing we love more than pop song workout playlists, it’s a workout full-on choreographed to a pop song, down to each beat. Because honestly, mountain climbers alone are. .. not fun (to put it lightly), but mountain climbers set to Justin Bieber’s newest hit? OK, you have our attention.
Today it’s exercise physiologist Amanda Bisk, a certified yoga instructor and former Australian pole vaulter, who’s giving us a fiery full-body workout set to “Intentions” by Justin Bieber featuring Quavo. There are plenty of squats, standing crunches, and push-ups to work your muscles, but never fear: you’ll also get in some cardio in with jump outs and scissor jumps.
Amanda included a full list of exercises in the video description, but just trust us when we say you’ll be working everything in this three-and-a-half-minute sweat sesh. Hit play on the video above to check it out, and if you want to sweat even more afterwards, try out Amanda’s ab workout set to “Circles” by Post Malone. (And if you’re only here for Justin, here’s a “Yummy” ab workout we found just for you.)
Do I Have Your Attention? This TikTok Dance Trend Is Absolutely Blowing My Mind
If you’re completely sucked into the world of TikTok like I am, then you know dance trends make up some of the app’s most popular content. The choreography ranges in difficulty, but a recent routine really impressed me with the level of skill it requires. User Alejandro Santos (@xoprinceali) kicked off the trend by creating an impromptu set of moves using Todrick Hall’s song “Attention,” and his fellow TikTokers followed suit. As the routine caught on, it became even more athletic and quickly turned into a gymnastics/dance mashup.
A few of TikTok’s most popular users, like Charli D’Amelio and Addison Rae, showed off the moves on their accounts. Watch a collection of their videos below, including the clip that started it all.
