Surgery of one day

Summer is a time of holidays and rest. I want to relax and get distracted not only from work, but also from all problems.

Unfortunately, for many people the modern rhythm of life, the specifics of work – the characteristics of the profession and responsible positions, do not allow for several times to be interrupted for several times separately for rest and separately for solving other problems, including health problems. For many people, combining vacation with treatment seems to be the best solution.

The surgical department of the Center for New Medical Technologies (CNMT) calls on Novosibirsk not to sacrifice the benefits of proper rest for the treatment, because it is possible to get rid of many diseases with the help of modern minimally invasive (minor traumatic) surgeries in one day.

Thanks to the unique technology of conducting operations in the CNMT, you can return to the usual life the next day

Most of the operations performed at the Center do not leave behind gross after-operation scars, but are performed through small “punctures” of the skin or through natural openings of the body (NOTES-technology – Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery). The uniqueness of this technology lies in the fact that doctors penetrate the patient’s body not through the cutaneous incision, as they did before, but through small punctures in the hollow organs.

The only medical institution beyond the Urals in Russia, which currently has the equipment to perform NOTES operations, is the Center for New Medical Technologies in Akademgorodok. When performing operations on NOTES technology, the patient is in the clinic for 1-3 days, and modern drugs and the latest equipment make it easy to transfer operations and not experience discomfort after general anesthesia.

At present, it is difficult to name the area of surgery where endoscopic techniques are not used. Minimally invasive operations are performed for cholelithiasis, hernia of various localization, proctologic operations – hemorrhoidectomy, surgical treatment of anal fissure, dermoid cysts, epithelial-coccygeal path. Problems with the organs of the urinary system are also successfully solved by urologists using laparoscopic surgical techniques.

Gynecologyis a special field of medicine. Women are often afraid not of the operation itself, but of those traces that can remain “in memory” of it. When carrying out minimally invasive interventions about this, you need not worry. However, the technique and volume of surgical treatment will not be affected.

The most common vascular pathology isvaricose veins of lower extremities. A thorough examination of the venous bed, carrying out operations taking into account the latest surgical tendencies and the use of modern equipment allow minimizing the risk of relapse.

The main method of treatment ofcholelithiasisis surgical. It involves the removal of the gallbladder with stones. Today, specialists of the Center for New Medical Technologies perform such operations in accordance with NOTES technology using modern endoscopic equipment.

Lately, enthusiasm for extreme sports, new ski slopes are opening, many in the immediate vicinity of our metropolis. But sometimes the joy of active rest turns intoserious injuries, requiring long-term treatment. Significantly improve the effectiveness of ongoing treatment, to shorten the terms of rehabilitation allows the use of endoscopic surgical methods by surgeon-traumatologists.

Such a disease as ahernia, known to mankind from time immemorial. The only way to treat a hernia all over the world is surgery. But the methods of operation there are many that can be divided into three groups. The first group: classical (tension) hernioplasty – the operation is performed through the incision, and the abdominal wall plastic is carried out by the body’s own tissues.

After such an operation, there is a fairly significant percentage of relapses, i. e. repeated hernia formations at the site of surgery. The second group: combined (non-stretch) plastic – the operation is also performed through the incision, but a synthetic graft is used for plastics, which significantly surpasses the tissues of the body in terms of reliability. After such operations, the number of relapses approaches zero. And, finally, the third method of operation, combining the reliability of combined plastics, since a synthetic graft is used, and low-trauma, since the operation is performed laparoscopically, i. e. through miniature cutaneous incisions – laparoscopic hernioplasty.

Further postoperative rehabilitation takes in most cases from one to two weeks, during which it may be necessary to periodically visit the attending physician, mainly the home treatment, the restriction of physical exertion – depending on the disease and the operation performed. Whereas after many laparoscopic surgeries, there are no special restrictions on outdoor walks.

Thanks to the application of modern methods of recovery in the postoperative period under the supervision of caring staff, the Center for New Medical Technologies provides a short rehabilitation period, allowing you to quickly return to your daily activities and your lifestyle. Modern equipment, innovative methods of treatment, as well as caring and qualified personnel – these are the three components that provide patients with CNMT “surgery of one day. ”
