Succession has officially released its first teaser trailer for its fourth season, as well as a release window, and we are beside ourselves with excitement!
A year after HBO confirmed that Jesse Armstrong’s Emmy-winning black comedy-drama would return for another season, we can now see what’s in store for the Roy family.
In the 45-second clip, released by Sky, there are plenty of references to events from the season three finale, which saw Tom Wambsgans tip off Logan Roy about the Roy siblings’ plans to put a stop to Waystar Royco from merging with GoJo. “You want to talk about what happened? ” Tom asks his wife Shiv (Sarah Snook) in the teaser. Eek! There’s certainly plenty of drama to come.
So what else can we expect from season four of Succession, which boasted 1. 4 viewers tuning in for the season three finale last year? Well, read on to find out more about the continued escapades of the Roy family in this dark satire, battling for power and revenge.
When will Succession season four come out?
The teaser trailer confirmed a release window of spring 2023 at the end — so just a few more months of waiting!
Succession has had something of a reputation for delayed gratification – fans had to wait a whole two years between season two’s gigantic cliffhanger and season three, although we’re assured that was down to the pandemic.
