I think we speak on behalf of everyone when we say that we hope to see more of Argyle in season 5.
Filming has yet to start on season five, but the Duffer Brothers have promised we won’t have to wait as long as we did for season 4, which was derailed by the pandemic. They told Variety: «The gap should be quite a bit shorter this time, due to the fact that we already have an initial outline, and we can’t imagine there will be another six-month forced hiatus. »
Meanwhile, the talented siblings are also in the process of developing a new Stranger Things spin-off. However, it won’t be based on the beloved ST characters such as Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven or Sadie Sink’s Max.
In fact, the creators want fans to know that the spin-off series will be «! 000% different» from Stranger Things, with the only connection to the show being its «storytelling sensibility». Ok, we’re officially intrigued…
«I’ve read these rumours that there’s gonna be an Eleven spin-off. That there’s gonna be a Steve and Dustin spin-off or that it’s another number. That’s not interesting to me because we’ve done all that. We’ve spent I don’t know how many hours exploring all of that. So it’s very different,» Matt Duffer explained.
Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Matt added that while the show will be completely different, it will be a «story that connects to the Stranger Things world, but it really is more about how we’re telling that story. »
The Duffer Brothers will be heavily involved in the project, but they are looking for a new showrunner to bring the project to life.
«Hopefully, we find that right person to pass the baton to while we go on to do new stuff,» the brothers said.
Sounds exciting. Anyway, the big question here is, is fruit on your pizza gnarly? We think it depends on which fruit you go for and the other toppings you mix it with, right?
