Another special day, another reason for Starbucks to come up with something crazy to put on their menu. The new year will usher in a whole new slew of specialty drinks at the coffee chain and this time, they don’t sound so gross.
Instead, it’s a sophisticated threesome of sweet sipables, and what’s more chic than black and white?
The Black and White Mocha gives espresso and steamed milk a whole new look with “a decadent swirl of dark mocha and white chocolate mocha, whipped cream and a tie-like stripe of chocolate sequin topping,” according to the company’s website. A release says all three are dressed to impress in their chocolate-sequin ties, radiating deliciousness and class in one fell swoop.
The coffee behemoth announced the new additions on Instagram earlier this morning, flanking their cozy image with this caption: “New Year. New Mocha. Chocolate Sequins atop whipped cream peaks and dark and white mocha swirls. #BlackAndWhiteMocha Here and gone before you know it. (US Canada)”
The collection is only here for a limited time, so it’s in your best interest to head to your closest vendor and get your taste buds on it. While the holiday frappuccinos of 2017 have been somewhat of a disaster, we think this will actually warm our hearts and have the legendary company starting the new year off on the right note.
