Sophie Gradon’s boyfriend has been found dead just days after her funeral

The boyfriend of Love Island‘s Sophie Gradon has been found dead just days after her funeral.

Aaron Armstrong, 25, who discovered Sophie’s body last month, was found dead hours after posting an emotional tribute to Sophie on Instagram.

Alongside a photo of her, he wrote: “just wish I could cuddle you all day. ”

“I miss you so much man Sophie not a minute goes by with out your gorgeous smile being a picture in my mind everyday we spent together was so amazing I need them days back. I love you princess. ”

A police spokesperson said: “At around 12. 20pm today we received a report that a 25-year-old man had been found deceased at a property in Blyth.

“There is not believed to be any third party involvement and a report will now be prepared for the coroner. ”

Sophie, who appeared on the show in 2016, reportedly took her own life after battling depression and money troubles at the age of 32, her friends have claimed.

Her friends told The Sun: “She had suffered from depression and anxiety and there was talk of financial issues, which obviously adds to the worry she was enduring.

“Her friends thought she was in a great place as she was madly in love with her boyfriend and life was good.

“However a good friend died and it affected her very badly. ”

The tributes poured in across social media, with Aaron confirming via Sophie’s personal Facebook account that she had died.

Her partner posted a snap of the pair together with the caption: “I will never forget that smile I love you so so much baby your my world forever ever and always. ”

The former Miss Newcastle, who was also Miss Great Britain in 2009, was one half of the show’s first same-sex couple. She was coupled up with Katie Salmon on the show after coupling up with barman Tom Powell.

Geordie Shore’s Holly Hagan posted on Twitter: “you were only helping me battle the twitter trolls yesterday rest in peace beautiful. ”

twitter id=”1009738136124043269″ In a statement, a Northumbria Police spokesperson told the Daily Star: “At about 8. 27pm yesterday (June 20) police attended a property in Medburn, Ponteland, where sadly a 32-year-old woman was found deceased.
