The idea of ‘sale season’ fills me with dread. It’s (obviously! ) not the cheap clothes that puts me off, but more the dregs of neglected pieces strewn across the floor and hanging off one another that I don’t have the patience to wade through.
But for all their bad points, there’s one – very obvious – upside to sales; that being that you can finally justify the purchase you’ve been contemplating since your dream piece hit the rack at full whack at the start of the season.
