Having launched in 2000, the Copenhagen-based label now headed up by husband-and-wife power couple, Creative Director Ditte Reffstrup and Founder Nicolaj Reffstrup, has experienced somewhat of a popularity explosion over the last few years.
It’s one of the world’s most popular Scandinavian fashion brands right now, but despite every fashion editor’s mutual love for Ganni, it’s still exciting to see the relatively affordable label championed by some of the celebrity world’s biggest – and wealthiest – names.
Counting Beyonce, Rihanna, Kate Bosworth and Kendall Jenner as loyal fans, the label is no stranger to a high-profile client.
They are, however, more regularly seen in street style shots than they are at festivals.
But this weekend’s Coachella outfits proved that the once cliché concept of ‘festival fashion’ is no more, and that this fashion week favourite is in fact taking over from the infamous floral crowns and face glitter. Sighs. Of. Relief.
