Is there anything pop royalty Rihanna can’t do? The 30-year-old songstress, beauty mogul, actress and philanthropist has been taking over the world industry by industry and now she’s ventured into lingerie – and is slaying it, obviously.
Savage x Fenty launched earlier this year and has repeatedly sold out since hitting shelves. Now, Rihanna is dropping a new holiday collection full of vibrant cobalt blue lace sets and floral suspenders.
Modelling the range herself on her Instagram feed, Rihanna looked absolutely sensational and we have no doubt that the collection with sell out when it drops on December 5.
Speaking to Vogue earlier this year, Rihanna admitted she likes nothing more than seeing the excitement on people’s faces: “I love seeing the reaction to Savage X Fenty in person, so having a pop-up shop is really exciting for me! “
“I want women to feel great wearing lingerie. I want them to feel confident, sexy, flirty. But most of all, I want them to feel like themselves. ”
That’s an empowering message we can all agree with – we can’t wait to get our hands on it all.
It had been rumoured for months but Riri confirmed her Savage x Fenty line on Instagram back April. She wrote,“we bout to light this up sis! ! … introducing @SAVAGEXFENTY lingerie coming soon. sign up now at SAVAGEX. com ! ! ”
Initially, she teased us with a first look at herself wearing the sultry new range and, obviously, looked absolutely incredible.
Posing in the cutaway pink and white ensemble, Rihanna looks sensational in the campaign image.
She captioned the snap: ‘bet ya didn’t know it’s #nationallingerieday got a lil treat for my ladies…. #SAVAGEXFENTY is coming to you worldwide on MAY 11th! ! Exclusively on SAVAGEX. com ! ! Head there now to peep the live countdown. ’
She then gave us more details, with more campaign images of other dreamy-looking models of all shapes and colours – just like the lingerie itself. Riri certainly took inspiration from her foundation range and has released underwear that matches your skin tone (as well as some rainbow coloured additions).
Savage is already available on online shelves here featuring sexy and everyday models in seven different nude shades, as well as pastels like mint and lilac.
