Everyone is buzzing over this first official appearance of Prince Harry and girlfriend Meghan Markle. While engagement rumors have been swirling between Markle and Prince Harry, this royal spotting is definitely a sign that their relationship is headed to the next level.
Over the weekend, we reported that the couple attended their first royal event at the Invictus Games in Toronto, however, the two weren’t seated together. Today, pictures were released of the couple holding hands for the first time in public while looking cozy on the sidelines of the wheelchair tennis match.
This royal spotting has us feeling all the feels, mostly because they truly look like they are enjoying each other’s company. Earlier this month, Markle broke her silence about their relationship to Vanity Fair, and she even hinted at a possible royal engagement in the near future (eek!).
Markle explained to the mag: “We’re in love. I’m sure there will be a time when we will have to come forward and present ourselves and have stories to tell, but I hope what people will understand is that this is our time. This is for us. It’s part of what makes it so special, that it’s just ours. But we’re happy. Personally, I love a great love story.”
Now we’re anxiously awaiting that royal engagement announcement, because, like Markle, we love a great love story, too!
