With A-listers Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas as parents, it’s hardly surprising that Carys Zeta Douglas was destined for stardom.
The 15-year-old daughter of Catherine and Michael has been making waves on social media this week, after she graced the cover of Town Country magazine with her actress mother.
People took to social media in their droves to comment on the striking similarity between the duo – and even complimented the young star on being ‘a breath of fresh air’.
In the interview, the teenager discussed her famous family and the pitfalls it can often bring.
She explained: “When I was younger I didn’t like the idea of having this name attached to me, this kind of ‘Douglas dynasty’ stuff.
“I think what bothers me the most is that people think I don’t work hard for it.
“That anything I do gets handed to me. When, honestly, I feel like it’s the opposite.
“I feel I need to constantly prove myself to people – that I am not just my parents’ daughter.
She also spoke about being bullied at school over her father’s age, adding that children would cruelly say “your granddad’s here to pick you up. ”
It seems that Carys looks set to follow in her famous parents’ footsteps; her Instagram account already has a 57,000-strong following.
