Peak Perry: Katy wore THE most anti-social outfit to the Met Gala 2018

Katy Perry is no stranger to an intense red-carpet moment, but the singer perhaps reached peak Perry at the Met Gala 2018 red carpet when tackling the theme, ‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination. ’

For her seventh Met Gala appearance, K-Pez wore a Versace gold chain mail minidress, thigh high boots and giant wings so large they will garner jealously from many a Victoria’s Secret Angel whilst legit spanning six entire feet. Just a casual Monday night look.

Perhaps Katy had downed quite a large can of Red Bull to give her these epic wings – it’s safe to say alongside Pope Rihanna, Perry certainly proved she adores a jolly good theme.

After all, Katy did have an audience with the Pope alongside her on-off boyfriend, Orlando Bloom a matter of weeks ago – which takes her Met Ball preparation to a whole other level.

The wings proved to be somewhat anti-social on the red carpet, however, with the singer seen accidentally knocking the new creative director of Juicy Couture, Jamie Mizrahi, out of her path. Don’t worry guys, the moment has provided a heaven-sent GIF for all God’s children to enjoy. Praise be the Lord – other onlookers including, Christopher Kane certainly enjoyed THE Met Ball moment, too.

After having to walk sideways into the venue – as KP didn’t quite fit through the iconic museum’s doors walking head-on – the other attendees must have breathed a sigh of relief when the singer was seen sans wings conversing intensely with Kim Kardashian, amongst others.

Either way, maybe don’t try this look at home for your next costume party, you might not be the most popular of party goers.
