21 years later, Courteney has given her dress from that night to her daughter, Coco Arquette, who is now 14 years old and looks so like her famous mama.
One evening in 1998, Courteney Cox and her then-husband, David Arquette, walked the red carpet for the premiere of the Nicolas Cage movie Snake Eyes. The TV show Friends was in its fourth season, so Courteney was a household name. That’s the season, for the record, when Phoebe gets pregnant with her brother’s triplets, Ross gets married to Emily and Monica gets stung by a jellyfish at the beach. Good times.
Courteney has just posted a photo on Instagram. It’s a throwback pic of her in the dress next to a shot of Coco in it now, with the caption: “I’m not one to hold onto things but this was a damn good purchase! 21 years later…”
We wish we had famous mothers who kept all their red carpet outfits to give to us…
Meanwhile, in other Friends related news, Jennifer Aniston has recently hinted that she’d be open to going back to Central Perk once more for the Friends reunion we’ve always been told would never happen. “Ohhh-kay. Why not? You know what, because, listen, I told you this: I would do it. We have a lot of – The girls would do it. And the boys would do it, I’m sure. Listen, anything could happen,” Jen told Ellen Degeneres on her talk show.
Courteney and Friends co-star Lisa Kudrow recently had a two-person reunion, posting a silly photo on Instagram using a snapchat filter.
As Lisa quipped, they’ve never looked better.
