Madelyn also added fuel to the rumour mill fire back at the beginning of May, when she said in an interview with Cosmopolitan. com that they’d been quarantining together.
“For most of quarantine, me, Rudy, Chase, Drew, and our friend Elaine, we were all quarantined together for about a month and a half. So before the show came out, we were all together, and then the show came out and we kinda got to experience this all coming to life together, which was really cool…So, yeah, we have been in contact and it’s been really amazing. ”
Chase also said a similar thing in an interview with People, saying: “Even now back in L. A. , we’re all staying together, quarantining together. There’s this true honesty to the friendship you see onscreen that is equally present offscreen as well. ”
Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline have been fuelling dating rumours ever since their show Outer Banks dropped on Netflix in April. They play on-screen couple John B and Sarah Cameron in the treasure-hunting drama series, but their chemistry was seriously undeniable, which saw fans theorising on social media that they were actually together in real life.
And over the weekend, 27-year-old Chase confirmed the romantic conspiracy theories in an Instagram post, sharing a picture of himself and Madelyn, 22, having a picnic on the beach and a photo of Madelyn smiling and holding a bottle of wine, with the caption: “cats outta the bag. ”
Outer Banks co-star Jonathan Daviss (who plays the character of Pope) commented: “Well it’s about time”, while Madelyn wrote: “I’ve fallen and I cant get up” (ADORABLE) before adding: “Topper is punching the air rn”, referencing her character’s ex-boyfriend in the show. The actress also added her boyfriend’s post to her Instagram Stories.
