And whilst we *hate* to cheat on our favourite brands, we can’t help but welcome new brands to British soil with open arms.
From Zara to Topshop, the British high street is a fashion force to be reckoned with.
So, when we heard that one of Italy’s most popular retailers is making its way to the UK, we were more than a little tempted to have a perusal of the website – and mentally bought everything in the process.
Subdued, one of Italy’s most popular high street retailers, is opening its first UK store just off Carnaby Street on Saturday 16th February.
With over 100 stores across Italy, France, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands, the brand has achieved its iconic status by tapping into customers who love its effortless, playful aesthetic.
Inspired by the urban lifestyles of its customers, the brand has made ‘90s and early 00s must-haves its signature. Think pared back cropped tees, combat pants and lurex knit party dresses. Hoodies, teddy bomber jackets, cricket knits and tea dresses make up the core collection of easy, effortless weekend wear.
The best part? The brand is super purse-friendly, with tops costing around £25 and skirts at a reasonable £22. Welcome to the UK, Subdued!
