The brush is just the absolute bomb-diggity, made from some fan-dangle kind of material that’s flexi-fantastic and coats every lash without dampening your natural curl. For those who prefer separation over clumps, it’s a must-try. Bloody bargain too.
Isehan Heroine Make Volume Curl Mascara Waterproof Black, £11. 99
Beauty fans have been going wild for this Japanese mascara they claim is just as good as falsies. Not only do they claim it never budges but they say it lasts all day long. One reviewer wrote: ‘For argument’s sake I wore this during a 45-minute, 65-degree celcius infra-red sauna session, and the mascara did not smudge. ” Sounds pretty impressive.

Don’t be fooled by the purse-friendly price tag and the fact that this mascara is from your local Wilkos – women are going wild for it. Ladies have taken to Amazon to comment on how ‘incredible’ the product is, hailing it ‘the best budget mascara ever’. The special, conic shape of the fibre brush provides lashes with length, dramatic volume and a false-lash effect and people have even taken to Amazon to sell theirs on for a profit.

An absolute favourite since its 2011 launch, Benefit’s They’re Real really delivers. The bouncy brush makes for easy and precise application, while the blacker-than-blacker formula keeps lashes looking thick and dramatic all day long. It really will have people asking if your lashes are real.
Better than sex mascara, £23, Too Faced
While we can’t promise that this mascara is actually better than sex, as far as mascaras go, it’s pretty damn good. Two coats of the stuff make you look like you’re wearing false lashes – super long and dark ones, at that. And if you flutter them at anyone, you’re guaranteed to set hearts racing.

Loving Charlotte Tilbury’s makeup line as much as we do meant that we were not at all surprised that the makeup artist’s mascara, full fat lashes, was as impressive as it was. This is a great all-rounder and keeps lashes looking fresh and bold all day (and night) long.
