When officer Travis Frost of Texas received a call about a vicious dog hanging around someone’s porch, we’re sure that this lovable pup was what he was expecting to have to deal with.
As he approached the dog, he left his car door open in case he had to make a quick getaway. Smart, but unnecessary, because as soon as he whistled to the dog, it wagged its tail and immediately ran up to him.
“He went right up to the patrol unit, jumped in the front seat and just made himself at home. ”
The dog was taken back home to his owner within 24 hours.
“While you should always be careful around any dog that you don’t know, you shouldn’t automatically assume that all pit bulls are bad dogs,” Said Frost of the situation. “They might be really loving like this guy was this morning. ”
