Ugly sweaters and the parties that surround them are a holiday staple, and Nike is attempting to cash in on this fact with a pair of ugly sweater sneakers.
That’s right, the intentional, seasonal ugliness is no longer confined to your chest region, and can instead be expressed through knit shoes flecked with presents, snowmen, and gingerbread cookies. And a blue Nike swish, of course.
The Christmas Nike SB Dunk High, which is the result of acollaboration between the store Concepts International and Nike, will drop at Concepts locations in Cambridge and New York on December 2. They’ll be available online December 7. Plan your holiday social calendar accordingly.
Oh, and just in case the existence of holiday-themed sneakers wasn’t cute enough for you, get this: apparently, they also come in child sizes.
