Fries and nacho cheese go together like, well, most things and nacho cheese, and Taco Bell has a menu item that combines the two. The fast-food restaurant introduced Nacho Fries to menus back in 2017, but sadly, they disappeared after the initial launch came to an end. Now for the good news: Nacho Fries are making a nationwide return beginning on January 30 – this time, with “an all-new flavor innovation that’s sure to receive critical and fan acclaim,” Taco Bell teased in a news release.
This addictive side – which only costs $1, by the way – features french fries made with “bold Mexican seasoning” and served alongside “a dippable side of warm nacho cheese,” according to the taco chain. What could this “all-new flavor innovation” possibly be? Perhaps a spicier seasoning? Or a noncheesy dipping sauce? Or maybe it’s an entirely different menu item altogether? We’re salivating just thinking of the possibilities!
Taco Bell first tested Nacho Fries in Irvine, CA, and they’ve popped back onto menus at least once a year, sometimes twice, since 2018. If you missed out on this cheesy concoction the first few times around, you’ll soon have another chance to try it (and another excuse to plan a Taco Bell run with your friends). This might be the best news you’ll hear all day!
