NARS Is Hiring An Assistant, Global Artist Relations (Full-Time Consultant Position) In New York, NY

REPORTS TO: Director, Global Artist Relations

JOB FUNCTION: The Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and production support for NARS Global Artist Relations’ programs, strategies and initiatives. This position performs a variety of duties which require balancing multiple tasks simultaneously.


Product inventory management

  • Forecast and order pre-series quantities
       - Ensure timely deliverable of all pieces by liaising with multiple departments and vendors
  • Communicate with US PR Team to ensure gratis closet is stocked with artist community favorites
  • Create monthly budget reports for Finance department


  • Revise and update mailing list on a quarterly basis
  • Update addresses as needed
  • Source specialized packaging and collateral
  • Supervise intern and temps
       -  Unpacking inventory
       - Assembling products, special packaging and collateral
       - Sending out completed packages via messenger and FedEx
  • Track EMV and social posts
  • Create recaps to be shared with Global Artist Relations and executives

Send outs

  • Serve as day-to-day contact for one-off gratis requests
  • Send bi-weekly send out reviews to Director, Global Artist Relations
  • Track products sent out vs. requested
       - Create monthly reports


  • Oversee and continually update Global Artist Relations project timelines
  • Manage production logistics and budgetary needs for events
  • Track KPI results and generate monthly reports
  • Create and update department presentations and recaps for various initiatives as needed
  • Support Agent, NARS PRO in New York Fashion Week production as it relates to lead artists and NARS backstage teams
  • Research and compile information on competitive brand activity
  • Participate in weekly team status meetings
       - Compile the agenda
       - Create recap of next steps


  • Generate creative briefs as necessary and manage timelines through final approval
  • Liaise with the Customer Experience team to receive program monthly results
  • Manage budget tracking


  • Track contract time and deliverables
  • Arrange travel itineraries
  • Maintain correspondence as needed
