We’re nearing the end of November (how did that happen? ) which means Black Friday is around the corner. Since current lockdown restrictions will still be in place by the time one of the biggest shopping days for retailers arrives, all our sale buys will be snapped up from the comfort of our couches.
Infinitely better than queuing in the cold and fighting over the last in our size, tbh. So although we might be at home for the next few weeks, we highly suggest investing now in a pair of M&S boots now – and with 30% off, it would almost be rude not to. We’ve looked through all the pairs on offer and although there are quite a few we’d like to *add to bag*, Glamour’s pick for our favourite boot in the M&S sale is their chunky Chelsea boot.
Shoe trends come and go but Chelsea boots are a wardrobe staple that you will pull on winter after winter. We do, however, love the subtle nod to the chunky tread trend – championed by designers like Bottega Venetta and The Row for AW20 – and the slightly longer length on these boots. The understated acknowledgement to these current trends, still mean these boots are totally Instagram worthy, but equally, you won’t feel *over* them come next winter.
Plus we love that they’re made from actual leather – a rarity with high street boots, never mind boots under £50. Need one more reason to buy them before they sell out?
