Millie Bobby Brown Honors Parkland Victims at the Kids’ Choice Awards

The 14-year-old “Stranger Things” actress arrived at Nickelodeons star-studded teen awards show in a custom Calvin Klein denim look that featured a nod to the youth-led movement with “Never Again” embroidered in bold, all caps white stitching on the front.

And the 17 names of the Parkland victims listed underneath a “March for Our Lives” title emblazoned on the back. Brown continued to show her support for the movement when she won the award for Favorite TV Actress with a meaningful acceptance speech that touched on how inspired she was by the thousands of students who came out in swarms to put an end to gun violence.

Hours after crowds of people gathered in Washington D. C. and around the world for the March for Our Lives, the protest organized by the #NeverAgain movement and survivors of last months high school massacre in Parkland, Florida,Millie Bobby Brown took to the orange carpet at Saturday nights Kids Choice Awards to show her support for the movement and to memorialize the lives of the 17 people who were lost in the school shooting.

“As we saw a moment ago, the March for Our Lives demonstrations that took place all over the world today have inspired me and impacted us all in one way or another.

But more than anything, I get to be up here, and Im privileged to have a voice that can be heard, one that I can use to hopefully make a positive difference and help influence change,” she said. “Theres an amazing support, love and kindness in this room right now, and I want to encourage everyone to embrace it and to pass it on. ” She added, “for the angels among us, your spirit lives on. This is for you. ”
