Meghan Markle Wore a Thing: Double Hat Edition

Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the worlds eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. Well be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, “Meghan Markle Wore a Thing. ”

Meghan Markle is upping the ante of public appearances — and things to wear — ahead of her highly anticipated wedding to Prince Harry on May 19.

On Wednesday, the future royal attended a full schedule of services in honor of Anzac Day, which commemorates the veterans of Australia and New Zealand. So lets get down to the nitty gritty of what Markle put on her person, shall we?

The bride-to-be arrived at Hyde Park for a memorial service at dawn, dressed in a muted look: a long double-breasted gray “Pagoda” coat from Smythes Fall 2018 collection, a black dress, Sarah Flint “Jay” heels, a small clutch by Gucci and a black floppy hat.

Later, the couple continued their duties at Westminster Abbey for another service, which meant a whole new thing to wear. Markle swapped her floppy hat for a Philip Treacy fascinator adorned with a beaded dragonfly. Her suit dress is a custom design courtesy of Emilia Wickstead, paired with matching black heels and a Jimmy Choo “J Box” clutch with metallic details.

As for beauty, Markle wore her hair down for both occasions and kept her makeup fairly simple. Though, we have to wonder what highlighter she uses. Seriously, look at that glow. Quite the feat for a woman whos been awake for approximately 15 hours already.
