Meghan Markle Wore a Thing: Aritzia Coat Edition

Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the worlds eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. Well be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, “Meghan Markle Wore a Thing. ”

On Friday, Meghan Markle and her fiancé Prince Harry hit the trackat the University of Bath Sports Training Village to attend theU. K. team trials for theParalympic-inspiredInvictus Games taking place in Sydney later this year.

This wasnt the first time theywere spotted on the sidelines at thisannual sporting event; the duo made theirfirst public appearance as an “item” at the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto.

For this occasion, the royal couple — whose spring nuptials are just around the corner —embraced casual Fridays by swapping prim dresses and suits for jeans and matching polos.

They even kept their outerwear light and sporty: Prince Harry borrowed from the commoners closet witha windbreaker, while Markle gave a nod to her Canadian roots in a brownish-orange Aritzia trench, which you can nab for a reasonable $245.

Markle complemented the timeless trench with a pair of dark-washed, bootcut Mother Denim jeans, an Invictus Games polo and black heels. Her beauty look was similarly casual: The bride-to-be wore her hair loose and went for a fuss-free makeup look, with barely-rouged cheeks, a light- pink lip and that general pre-wedding luminous glow she seems to have lately.
