This record-breaking BBC drama is back for a second season and we seriously cannot wait
The hit eight-part drama about a Welsh lawyer whose husband mysteriously disappears had the entire national glued to their screens. It was downloaded more than 8 million times on iPlayer and when the network initially removed the series, it was swiftly re-uploaded due to rife demand.
Keeping Faith broke records as BBC iPlayer’s most-viewed non-network show in 2018, and now it’s back for a much-needed second instalment. Yaaaasss!
The show originally aired on BBC One Wales but due to the enormous success of the first season, it has been moved to BBC One. It will also be available to binge watch as a box set after the series premiere.
So, what can we expect from season two?
Eighteen months on from the events of season one, Faith is thrown into a new mystery as she takes on the case of a local farmer accused of murdering her husband, all the while dealing with her husband’s sudden return and her growing feelings for criminal, Steve Baldini. We’ll also finally find out what happened to Evan. Phew.
All of the key original cast members, including Faith, Steve and Evan, will be returning for the second series alongside several new faces. Eve gave viewers a glimpse of what to expect in a Twitter selfie of her and Steve Baldini filming on the beach.
Cancel all your plans – and dare I say your 9pm Love Island viewing slot – because this is a must see. We promise you won’t regret it.
