Jim Chapman is moving on. The 31-year-old YouTube star just made his new relationship Instagram official. Over the weekend, he posted a photo from a music festival with his new girlfriend, British-Indian model, Sarah Tarleton. They look cosy, candid and happy together.
This development comes just months after Jim finalised his divorce from ex-wife, fellow YouTube star Tanya Burr. They met when they were teenagers and they had been married three and a half years. He became mega famous for his lifestyle-themed videos and Tanya was of course extremely well-known for her makeup and beauty tutorials. Their fans were often privy to aspects of their relationship in their videos and via social media, too, and many of them were vocally upset when they split.
A lot of Jim’s two million followers were pleased to see him moving on with someone else. “So happy for you, Jim!” one wrote underneath his latest picture. “You make the world a better place!” wrote another. “Enjoy it!”
Others were not quite so ready to celebrate, saying they were “heartbroken” to see Jim moving on with someone new. “This breaks my #Janya heart,” said one, using Jim and Tanya’s portmanteau couple name.
The comments on Sarah’s post were extremely supportive. “You two are the cutest,” said one of her 23,000 followers. “I stan,” wrote another. “Perfect together”.
