Prince William Is Traveling Solo to New Zealand at the End of April

The prince has visited New Zealand a number of times in the past. His last visit was in 2014, when he was accompanied by the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George. It appears that William will be making this trip solo, while his family remains in the UK.

The timing does mean it’s possible he’ll miss Prince Louis’s first birthday on April 23, though it’s likely that the trip will be scheduled to allow William to celebrate with his family. It’s possible he could also miss the birth of his new niece or nephew, as Meghan and Harry’s baby is said to be due in late April.

Prince William is set to travel to New Zealand at the end of April, on a visit that will honor the victims of the Christchurch mosques terrorist attack. The prince is making the trip on behalf of the queen and at the request of the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern.

During his stay, he “will meet with those affected by the attack and will pay tribute to the extraordinary compassion and solidarity that the people of New Zealand have displayed in recent weeks.”

Immediately after the horrific attacks, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited New Zealand House in London, where they paid their respects and signed a book of condolences. As the most recent members of the royal family to visit New Zealand, they were chosen by the queen to make the visit. Now William will take on the responsibility of traveling to the country to show the royal family’s continued support.

Kate Middleton’s Classic J.Crew Sweater Could Be Yours For Just $50

The Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to Gilwell Park, the Scout Association’s UK headquarters, where she found out more about a pilot program designed to introduce younger children to the Scouting movement. Kate, who has volunteered as a Scout leader in the past, looked totally at home as she sported her Scout’s scarf and participated in some activities with some of the young children involved in the program.

Since she was going to be working outside, Kate dressed for the occasion in a casual outfit consisting of a khaki utility jacket over a J.Crew sweater and skinny jeans. The best news? Her sweater is on sale for only $50, making this a royal look you can definitely re-create. She finished the look with hoop earrings and her See by Chloé lace-up ankle boots, which she first wore in January on a similar outdoorsy adventure. Take a closer look at the entire outfit ahead, then shop that sweater for yourself.

Princess Charlotte’s Mischievous Grin Is Front and Center in These Adorable 4th Birthday Photos

Princess Charlotte graced the world with her presence on May 2, 2015, and the little royal is growing up fast. Ahead of her fourth birthday this week, Kensington Palace released four precious new photos of Charlotte taken by her mom, Kate Middleton – the Duchess of Cambridge is known for photographing all three of her kids for special milestones, and most recently blessed us with a few insanely cute snaps of her youngest, Prince Louis, who turned one in April. Now, it’s big sister’s turn to shine!

In the portraits, our dear Lottie is showing off the latest in royal toddler fashion, sporting her signature floral dress and sneakers as well as a plaid skirt and sweater combo while climbing a fence and picking a flower. While her style is obviously on-point, I’m mostly struck by Charlotte’s sly smile and the twinkle in her eye – there’s something very reminiscent of Princess Diana in her expression, though I still maintain that she is the spitting image of her great-grandmother, the queen.

As a self-professed Princess Charlotte stan, the arrival of these official photos makes me feel like it’s my birthday. Scroll through to see Lottie’s latest portraits, then check out even more of her cutest pictures over the years.

Princess Diana’s Old Styling Trick Is Suddenly Everywhere

It’s been 30 years, but we haven’t forgotten that Princess Diana famously tucked both her jeans and sweats into Western boots. That’s why when we saw the trend pop up on the Fall 2019 runways and simultaneously on the street, we deemed it iconic. It’s the perfect example of a cyclical trend that’s already been adopted by Kendall Jenner, followed by the rest of the fashion world.

Diana was spotted pulling off the look at the polo club and dropping off her kids from school in the late 1980s, and we love the way the style was reinterpreted at Alberta Ferretti and even Rachel Comey, with a red zippered bootie. Presumably though, you’d like to translate this move for your own wardrobe, so we’re showing you exactly how it’s done. Read ahead for a full lesson in the Diana boot tuck.
