Life-altering websites you need to bookmark asap

When it comes to learning new skills, killing some time between 9 and 5 at the office, or trying to figure out what to do with your life, we all need a little help. Let these websites help.

They probably won’t change your life, but they’ll help you be a better you, entertain you for a sec, or just maybe, they might propel you forward a little.

Now you can be just as sophisticated as the aristocrats down at the club, drinking scotch and playing the greatest game of strategy, known to man.

Or just learn how to play chess to keep your brain nimble. This site gives free chess lessons for beginners and up.

If you need just a blank place to write down ideas, or place things copied from your clipboard, this site is literally a blank page where you can type things, and come back to it whenever. It’ll still be there when you come back.

Sure, you can use your notes app, or some other form of note taking, but this site is just so simple and easy. Don’t know about you, but I have a hard time with word.

I miss Clippy sometimes.

This handy website will tell you where you can stream, download or buy any particular movie you’re looking for.

Sure beats endlessly scrolling through Netflix and Amazon Prime to see who’s got what.

This site, created during the time that Breaking Bad was on the air, is still active. You can peruse the site as if you believe that Walter’s just an innocent teacher, stricken with cancer.

Once upon a time, if you actually made a donation, it went to the National Cancer Coalition. Now, it just drives you to the AMC website. Still though, makes you want to watch it all again, right?

Don’t ask me where the name comes from, I have no idea. This site allows you to track price changes on Amazon. You get alerts when prices drop, you can see the history of price fluctuations, and there’s even an add-on for Chrome and Firefox to keep an eye on your most wanted items.

This’ll come in handy now that the weather’s warming up. I want a fucking huge pool float for my summer binge drinking.

What the fuck should I make for dinner?

This site is profane as hell, and you just need to head over to the site and it’ll tell you what to fucking make. You don’t fucking like that, it’ll give you another fucking suggestion.

Just give your SO a heads up when they head to this site, incase they think you’re trolling them. You don’t want to eat cold pop tarts for dinner. Again.

Account Killer

We all know that we’re being spied on right? Especially with all the coverage that Mark Zuckerberg got for the Facebook data sale, more and more social sites are collecting info on us.

So, if you’re uncomfortable with that and want a quick and dirty way to erase your social self, this site will help.

I’m sure you’ve got your favourite travel site when you’re looking for cheap fares and destinations, but what make this site such a beauty, is that you can just plug in dates and a price range, and it’ll tell you what’s available.

Saves you the trouble of knowing where you want to go, and it’ll tell you where you can go instead. Russian Roulette with travel destinations is so much better than a planned vacation.

Down for everyone or just me

If one of your favourite Furry/Cougar sites just doesn’t want to load, and it’s not your internet, then you can hit up this site to see what’s going on with them.

It’s not a gorgeous or extensive site, but it does come in handy.

Manuals Lib

This is an online library with handy PDF manuals for pretty much anything and everything.

Who needs to call a professional when you can just do it yourself and save a few bucks, right hon? Hon?

Gif Print

Have you ever had a completely fire and hilarious gif, but couldn’t share it because your phone was dead? Now you can upload it to this site, and it’ll make a printable flip book for you.

Carry that bad boy around and watch the ladies swoon, the fellas get interested, and your friends crown you the gif master.

Or don’t. It doesn’t matter to me.

My Noise

Whether you’re easily distracted, or just want to pretend like you’re at the ocean or in the middle of the woods, this site’s got sounds for you. It’s an online sound machine, and you can cue up hours or non-repeating sounds.

Helps the workday fly by, and drowns out the endless smack of Marsha’s stapler, in the next cubicle.
