Fill me in on Juvéderm
Why fillers?
Fillers can be used to smooth out wrinkles, soften lines around the eyes and mouth, add or replace volume in the cheeks and temple area, contour the chin and jawline, plump lips, and lift areas such as the eyebrows.
What’s in my filler?
Hyaluronic acid is the main ingredient in Juvéderm fillers and is a substance naturally produced by the body that draws moisture into the skin. When hyaluronic acid is injected into skin, it combines with the water in your body to help restore lost elasticity and plumpness. Hyaluronic acid fillers can last anywhere between six and 24 months.
Does one filler fit all?
Under the brand Juvéderm, five fillers are available, each created to specific concerns. Volite is great for hydrating the skin and improving elasticity, Volbella is for plumping lips, while Volift helps with facial contouring, adding volume to specific areas. Voluma is an option for cheek enhancement, and the recent addition Volux has been developed to add definition to the jawline and chin.
CoolScuptling: it’s question of contouring
What is body contouring?
A non-invasive alternative to liposuction, CoolSculpting works to contour areas of the body by freezing fat cells, which are then naturally eliminated by the body. The treatment has little to no downtime and can be used on areas including the abdomen, inner thighs and upper arms.
Who is CoolSculpting for?
CoolSculpting works best for those who have already tried to achieve results through diet and exercise, targeting resistant areas of fat they still want to treat.
