Kate Middleton’s Top Fashion Moments From The 2018 Royal Tour

Middleton managed to fit in multiple outfit changes a day on the quick trip, but we’re rounding up five of our favorite looks below.

Kate Middleton used the 2018 royal tour in Sweden and Norway as the perfect platform to document her stellar maternity style, (and her growing baby bump), as she visited the countries alongside her husband, Prince William, in one statement-making look after another, pushing the envelope in bold prints and pops of color, proving that even into her third trimester she’s still having fun with her fashion choices and serving up endless style inspiration with her perfectly put together looks.

She relied on high-fashion favorites from the likes of Erdem, Alexander McQueen, and Catherine Walker and even debuted a slew of stylish new handbags.

On the first day of the tour Kate opted for a casual, weather-appropriate outfit before slipping into a custom-made Catherine Walker dress that featured a turtleneck. She showed off her baby bump in the ensemble, which she paired with sheer tights and a Mulberry purse.

Middleton pushed the envelope in not one but two Erdem printed dresses, just like she did in the gorgeous mustard-colored ensemble she wore for a black-tie dinner. The dress paid homage to Sweden’s national colors and she accessorized the frock with Princess Diana’s pearl bracelet and matching earrings, pulling her hair back to keep the focus on the ensemble. Her second Erdem look on the tour was a blue-velvet midi-dress that was equally as show-stopping.

When it comes to looking appropriate and chic in the cold, Middleton’s covetable outerwear collection rarely disappoints — and she brought along a slew of stylish coats and winter-weather accessories for the four-day trip.

One of the best overcoats was her red and white houndstooth look by designer Catherine Walker, which she wore on the second day of the tour. The double-breasted silhouette flattered her baby bump and she accessorized the get-up with Tod’s shoes and a Chanel bag. The outfit appeared to be a nod to Princess Diana, who donned a similar houndstooth ensemble.

When Middleton removed the houndstooth coat she unveiled a custom-made boucle-tweed Alexander McQueen dress which featured an empire silhouette that looked neat and chic on the Duchess.
