Keeping Up With The Kardashians. It’s official. As of next year, we will no longer be keeping up with the Kardashians.
Taking to Instagram to announce the end of their hit show, the family said:
“It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
“After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way. ”
Love them or loathe them, one thing is for sure: this is the end of an era in reality TV.
So we thought we’d take this opportunity to cast our minds back 14 years, to the very first season, and see what our favourite family were up to then versus now. A kompare and kontrast, if you will (sorry).
Since series 1 aired way back in 2007, a hell of a lot has changed for the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Lip kits and multi-million-dollar cosmetics companies; sell-out clothing lines; hit lifestyle websites; one pretty damn good cookbook (we stan Kris Jenner’s cooking); marriages and divorces; relationships and break-ups; gender reassignment; countless magazine covers and modelling contracts; pranks and practical jokes aplenty (will all the real Khlo-Money fans please stand up) and –of course – tons of impossibly cute kids.
